Student Volunteers (SV) play a crucial role in ensuring the success of ECSA. Being an SV offers you the opportunity to participate in the conference by helping us organizing the event. In addition, it’s a great opportunity to meet and interact with researchers from academia and industry. This call is addressed to Ph.D. students from around the world so they can participate in preparing and running the event from the 14th to the 18th of September 2020.
Responsibilities
Volunteer actions include assistance for people in the conference, workshops and keynotes, access control, welcome desk, preparation of merchandising bags, control of visitors flow and assistance in general, in order to make people feel comfortable and the event run smoothly.
Benefits
Being a Student Volunteer is an excellent opportunity to meet and interact with academic and industrial researchers and practitioners, as well as Ph.D. students from all over the world. Such interactions enrich students’ knowledge and help them shape their research directions. We cannot afford to bear the costs of the accommodation and travel expenses, but we provide full access to ECSA that includes plenary sessions, tutorials, workshops, demos, and keynotes. We also offer you free meals (including the conference dinner) during the conference. Finally, we will do our best to help volunteers finding their accommodation.
